Our Functional Exercise Seat is designed to attach to the Concept2 Model D Rower front end allowing those with varying balance and mobility issues to train comfortably on the Indoor Rower.
The Functional Exercise Seat Attachment replaces the rear end assembly of the Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower, dramatically increasing the indoor rower’s accessibility. It addresses challenges individuals may have with upper body and trunk instability, balance and lower extremity limitations. It includes:
- A seat that slides or can be fixed in position
- A paddled seat base with an adjustable inclination
- An adjustable, padded seat back fixed with an adjustable harness to ensure upper
body stability and safety - A telescoping leg support system to maintain a vertical plane as knees flex and
extend - Removable handle bars for transferring from either side
- An adjustable spring-powered- assisted return phase of the rowing stroke
- A push bar for third party assist during the return phase of the rowing stroke
- Caster wheels for ease of handling
